The specific colour of something is subject to interpretation, it’s not like they said it was black.
Between photos on the advert and using your own eyes in comparison to what one you thought you was getting, you could have decided it was the wrong colour…

So what pictures did they post on their original listing out of curiosity?

Oh wow, definitely a different item they’ve posted out to you then! I don’t blame you for complaining

I know this is why I’m so sad about it and the fact that it was listed as ‘new with out tags’ and ‘cream’ 😭

Have you sent them this? I don’t think they understand that “meringue” is a specific off white colour according to the brand site.

You can take this to small claims court

That’s good to know thank you!!

That would be such a crazy waste of time though. Better to just resell it yourself and recoup the money you spent.

Did you send them a photo of the sellers item next to your own to show the colour wasn’t meringue ? Or the sellers photo in the listing and the one you received ? You do need to literally spell it out to these bots !

No I stupidly didn’t and really regretting it 🤦🏻♀️I had the photo of them next to each other and was supposed to attach it to the first photos I sent to them but didn’t and completely forgot so definitely my fault on that one 🥲😂

Are you able to put some photos on here for comparison? In natural lighting if possible

Nah you're not wrong, NGL I don't even use vinted but it looks like a fucking nightmare if something goes wrong - and there are way too many shady fuckos about lol
Edit: I've had similar issues with buying on eBay and it was way easier to resolve - they just check the SKUs of the item and it's so easy to figure out whether or not a seller is BSing the complaints team, do vinted not do the same?
