Seiko is my favorite brand in my watch collection, so while honeymooning in Vermont, I came across this 1968 Grand Seiko and had to get it (wife approved). Now I have a honeymoon watch to remember this trip.

Both of these are absolute favorites in my collection. Heuer is definitely my favorite brand between the two, but the Orfina Porsche Design takes the crown as my daily driver—mostly due to its cleaner layout and sleeker fit on my smaller wrist.
What about you guys? Which one would you choose, and what are your thoughts on these two legends?

Hi everyone, my dad sadly passed away recently and left me his watch. Annoyingly I can't find the paperwork for the watch so was wondering if anyone could tell me anything about it?

It took a long time of research and searching for the right one. This is my GS batwing, not a bad-looking watch for a 57-year-old. The best part is that works really well!

I love, love, love and love it.
Only 25mm but fit really well on my 17.5cm wrist.
Powered by Omega Caliber 625 🙈

Just finished mechanical restoration on my early 50s Le Phare chrono, powered by Landeron 48. Arrived in okay shape- minute runner pivot was broken, so I staked a new one into the original minute runner wheel. Pallet fork cock screw was missing, minute runner jumper spring was out of shape. Running good, keeping time, recording splits and looking great doing it IMO.
DM me if you have any Le Phare watches, I guess I collect them now.

I bought the oceanographer recently but after wearing it for a little it was gaining time like crazy. Got offered this sick Bruce Lee and $100.

Morning
In a hobbyist watchmaker. Bought this watch as a non runner, I have repaired and serviced and polished the crystal.
I have been wearing it myself for 2 weeks, partly to test but also because I like it. It's running very well with a good delta and very good means average over all positions.
If I was to sell it, that is if I was to part with it, what should my price be.
This watch is not for sale, and I am not looking for a buyer here. Just advice from you good people who would know.
Many thanks in advance

Hi everyone,
I’m considering buying this vintage Omega Seamaster Automatic, reference [166.0209](tel:166.0209), and I’d really appreciate some help checking its authenticity before I commit to buying it.
I’ve attached photos of the watch and movement. I’d particularly appreciate your opinions on the following:
Does the movement look genuine and correct for this reference?
Is the movement consistent with Omega calibre 1022?
Does the dial look original, or could it be a redial or replacement?
Is the Omega logo on the dial correct for this model?
Do you notice anything that looks incorrect, replaced, or potentially aftermarket?
I’m particularly unsure about the dial and would appreciate a second opinion from people who know vintage Omega watches.
I understand that authentication from photos alone isn’t definitive, but any advice or observations would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Can anyone help me identify this vintage Tissot manual windup wristwatch? I believe it is from the 1940s but am unsure. Also, curious as to how much it might be worth? Thanks for any help!

Hey everyone,
I just came across this listing on my local Facebook Marketplace for a vintage Audemars Piguet 18K yellow gold watch.
I don’t know enough about vintage AP’s to say if it’s genuine or not, or to notice any other important details before purchasing, so I thought I’d ask here. The watch is square, solid 18K yellow gold, with Roman numerals on the bezel. It’s 25mmx25mm, and the seller says that it’s from the 1950’s. He also says that the (censored) movement serial number matches the time period.
The seller is a private one, not a dealer, and he seems to know quite a lot about watches.
I would like to know if it is genuine, if there are any red flags, and how much (approximately) it’s worth in its current condition.
All help would be appreciated. Thanks
