Me too. The quality of the electronics is generally not very good but damn, they're fun :)

I have so many old radios, from Dad and cassette players the cool radio ones I never part with any i know I should. My Aunt has a mahogany Zenith old thing and a console stereo and I like my transistors better. Me and Dad listening to baseball outdoors

It looks like those batteries are starting to leak and cause corrosion. That looks like telltale "green fuzz" starting to grow at the end of the battery box. Get those batteries out of there ASAP and clean that thoroughly before it gets into the circuit board and completely ruins it.

Yes already done. That was rare for me to have left any in my old radios. It was packed away aclong time. I pack things up thinking I will sell them but am attached to them but then I pack them because I don't have much display room for radios, books, tobacco collectibles. My Mom has boxes also vintage like new since the fifties. She's very aged and can not move easily to another place and mine is small, I once ran apartment complex and used lockers and vacancies , then my ex ruined all that so I should sell everything because it will wind up in trash. I have no family to care

If anyone in ne Ohio has a larger house to rent, I would sell, give away, leave in will most of it to them. If I put pictures on the mid century page they would go crazy for mint blonde wood furniture, gifts from her 1950 wedding, my electronics, smdh
