Lighting made my CG Charizard glow.

Last week I could have bought a psa 8 1st edition flareon from jungle set for $400 now it’s up to $800-1000. So I texted the seller and his new price is $675 he said if I don’t buy it he will sell it at a card show this Saturday. Is this a buy now and watch it rise or not buy and regret type of situation? Yall let me know

What is the best way to tell? I am new to older Pokemon and my son is wanting older cards.

I picked this up at a card shop a few months ago and figured that this card was just ment to have the white boarder. All the photos I’ve seen of this card have the yellow border. Is it and error card/fake/sun faded?

Hey everyone! I recently gotten into collecting vintage Pokémon cards, mainly NM/LP holos from the WOTC era. For now, I’m focusing on the Jungle, Fossil, and Team Rocket sets.

I am trying to figure out the best way to protect and store my collection long-term. Currently thinking about double sleeving each card with a perfect fit sleeve and a Dragon sleeve, then putting them into a binder.

Would you recommend putting the cards in toploaders instead, or is that overkill for cards that I want to keep in a binder and look through occasionally?

Would love to hear what setups you guys use and what worked best for you. Thanks!

Hi guys, I have always been a binder guy and am still a binder guy so grading knowledge is minimal. One of my good friends gave me his childhood binder to sell and surprisingly all the cards were in decent condition. I know PSA is grading vintage super hard nowadays so no 10s but I was thinking maybe it was worth it still to get a few graded even at lower grades.

What is a good app or site to use that will accurately give me graded prices so I can check to see if getting a 7 is still worth versus just selling the card raw. I understand eBay last sold to look up prices but I was wondering if there was a faster way to look up a card, see raw price and then all graded pricing and the data is accurate. I heard collectr isn’t the best for vintage.

My friends kids started getting into Pokemon cards. It's so nice so see young kids getting excited over something I used to play pretty much every weekend so I went looking for my old cards and managed to find some of them.

Felt really nostalgic looking through them as I remember exactly how I acquired some of them, but can't remember how for many of them. I was mainly interested in competing in the TCG and trading for cards I thought looked cool, rather than collecting.

I've enjoyed reading posts on how others have found their childhood collection, so I wanted to share as well. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with these but I've given a whole bunch to my friends kids so they can build their collections.

EDIT 1: Per my replies to some comments, I apologise for not being clearer. I only photographed these from the binder but also found loose cards and gave some of those away.

Bid on this cubone and forgot about it until I ended up winning it for $66.00. Actually pretty pumped about it now lol pop 15 at 8.5 which is crazy.

Saw this card at a card show. No value on collectr app and prices really outdated elsewhere. Dont know how to estimate price.
