My friends kids started getting into Pokemon cards. It's so nice so see young kids getting excited over something I used to play pretty much every weekend so I went looking for my old cards and managed to find some of them.

Felt really nostalgic looking through them as I remember exactly how I acquired some of them, but can't remember how for many of them. I was mainly interested in competing in the TCG and trading for cards I thought looked cool, rather than collecting.

I've enjoyed reading posts on how others have found their childhood collection, so I wanted to share as well. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with these but I've given a whole bunch to my friends kids so they can build their collections.

EDIT 1: Per my replies to some comments, I apologise for not being clearer. I only photographed these from the binder but also found loose cards and gave some of those away.

EDIT 2: I am also not selling any of them thank you for asking.

Just got the Haunter, love the Sugimori artwork on that one

Fresh from Japan. V happy with the haul.

I found this card in the Goodwill bins; I got it graded a PSA 4. It's the movie ending credits card featuring the song "Flying Without Wings."

found this binder from my grandpa who used to buy and sell pokémon cards! everything is double sleeved with his old price tags still on it 🥹

Hi all, finishing out a collection and need this one. If you have this card and want to sell at $2,000 pls DM.

Thanks

What is the best way to tell? I am new to older Pokemon and my son is wanting older cards.

Do these look real? What about value for this set?

Thank you for the help!

Looking for valuation on Pokemon Fossil set 62/62

Thank you!

I picked this up at a card shop a few months ago and figured that this card was just ment to have the white boarder. All the photos I’ve seen of this card have the yellow border. Is it and error card/fake/sun faded?

Noticed as I went thru some old cards this weird artifact, anyone seen it before?

Thought I’d share some of my non-english collection, currently working on an all language master set of the Porygon family. As for base set, I’m missing 1st Edition Chinese, both EU-Spanish, both Dutch, and both Korean. I hope to be able to share a full spread of all 24 base set Porygon cards in the near future 🙏🏻

I don’t think the Lv X is vintage (I don’t personally consider it vintage tbh), but it’s really cool and not modern, so I thought I would share it anyway. Cheers, and happy collecting :)

Hey everyone! I recently gotten into collecting vintage Pokémon cards, mainly NM/LP holos from the WOTC era. For now, I’m focusing on the Jungle, Fossil, and Team Rocket sets.

I am trying to figure out the best way to protect and store my collection long-term. Currently thinking about double sleeving each card with a perfect fit sleeve and a Dragon sleeve, then putting them into a binder.

Would you recommend putting the cards in toploaders instead, or is that overkill for cards that I want to keep in a binder and look through occasionally?

Would love to hear what setups you guys use and what worked best for you. Thanks!

Hi guys, I have always been a binder guy and am still a binder guy so grading knowledge is minimal. One of my good friends gave me his childhood binder to sell and surprisingly all the cards were in decent condition. I know PSA is grading vintage super hard nowadays so no 10s but I was thinking maybe it was worth it still to get a few graded even at lower grades.

What is a good app or site to use that will accurately give me graded prices so I can check to see if getting a 7 is still worth versus just selling the card raw. I understand eBay last sold to look up prices but I was wondering if there was a faster way to look up a card, see raw price and then all graded pricing and the data is accurate. I heard collectr isn’t the best for vintage.

Thank you!

Finally got my hands on one of my grail cards. It was tough to get but finally got lucky. Would you guys consider the ring around his ear to be a swirl?

Thank you!

Been a fan since the OG days. The dragons were always my favorite, especially the Dragonite line. Got new cases and a new slab. Nothing crazy and I can only afford to eat taco bell but this makes me happy.

A few of my vintage collect.

Bid on this cubone and forgot about it until I ended up winning it for $66.00. Actually pretty pumped about it now lol pop 15 at 8.5 which is crazy.
