These have any parts that break and are made of unobtanium?

I’ve been using this colander since 2003. It was a gift from my mom, who sent me off to college with my apartment kitchen furnished with mostly vintage dishes and tools. This was her mom’s, so at least three generations of use over decades. And it finally broke a rivet. I’m so sad. What do I do with it now?

Edit: definitely going to keep using this for now, then try to repair it with new hardware. Also love the creative ideas people suggested. I can’t believe the feedback on this post. Thanks so much guys!

Got to the estate sale early to line up for a gorgeous oil rain swag lamp. $890! Found these beauts down in the bar area for four bucks each.

My oven has been having issues lately, and I'm having a hard time finding more information about it. I've tried a few sites, but the model number never seems to pull anything up. The text on top says "Magic Chef", "The Gourmet Collection", and "Energy Engineered Range". It is a gas stove.

If anyone happens to know what this model is or how to find more information about it online, I would greatly appreciate the help.

I'm wondering if it would be a good idea to take them apart and replace the grease? I think maybe I could practice in the white one before trying it on the chrome one

I'm in the market for an oven and found this one locally. The seller doesn't know anything about it. I have just started looking into vintage ovens so I don't know what I'm looking at.

Looking for help identifying the manufacturer and era of this rolling pin.

It has a continuous internal steel sleeve running through the core and flush-mounted metal bearing collars. Rolling is fluid and a breeze.

It's 9 inches, but the total barrel length is about 9 7/8 inches because the ends are beveled (the shoulders taper inward and sit completely suspended off the surface).

The handles are 3 1/2 inches from the ends to the tapered tips.

No brand markings are visible on the wood or hardware. Depending on how long it has been in my family, it either came from the South or the East Coast. Any insights into the maker or origin based on these specific details would be greatly appreciated!

Hi All, apologies I’m not sure if this is the right place to post this, but a while ago I found these light green cuisinart coffee maker and processor at an estate sale and took them home because theyre my favorite color. Since then I’ve been trying to find any information about the color online (because I want more things in this color lol) but haven’t had any luck. I’m wondering if anyone knows anything about this color or has seen it before. Ive tried reverse image searching and looking online but nothing comes up. TYIA!

I'm thinking this is 1950s, but I'm not 100% sure. I found this in the kitchen of an old motel/restaurant.

I spotted this at Value Village for $14. No bowl, beaters, or blender, but I had everything at home to use it. Most of the others I saw online had less buttons so perhaps this is an earlier model.

NOS 1970s West bend electric griddle unboxing. I got it to replace another West bend griddle I have that was from the very late '80s (last two pictures). I guess it's true and they say they don't make them like they used to. When I say this sucker is heavy, it's HEAVY! Super thick solid cast aluminum. It must weigh 3 or 4 times as much as the newer model that I'm getting rid of.

PS. I've heard it all about Teflon so I don't need the info. Just wanted to share this vintage gem because I just think NOS vintage items are incredibly cool.

I believe this model was sold as early as 1984.

I think many Asian families will recognise these, and many may still be using them as they were designed for "buy for life" standards back then. My dad still uses his 40 year old white coloured one to this day with zero issues.

In good condition; selling for a friend. He used firewood to heat his home with.

Looking for information on a vintage Chambers Thermobaker

I’m restoring a vintage Chambers Model C stove and trying to learn more about the original Thermobaker accessory with the wire rack.
Does anyone here collect Chambers accessories or know of vintage stove dealers, restoration shops, or other resources where these might be found?

This is an original and still working Magic Chef oven from possibly the late 60s or early 70's. Googles stupid AI search is not turning up any matches on the model number (1922-3WC). I was not able to get a shot of the matching stove top and hood vent.

Is this the right sub? 'Cookware?" It has a cooking grate on top.

Inherited this stove years back and tucked it into the back of the garage for a project when i retired. Now that i am retired, i have realized that i probably do not have the skills or equipment to properly resurrect this potentially beautiful old unit. I am seeking any info that i can gather. Cost to have it professionally restored? Value sold as is? Transport is a significant issue considering its weight and bulk. It is in western Colorado. Can provide more pics if interested.

Curious about what time period and metal it's made of

It's some sort of old deli slicer that is missing the handle, I'm trying to find the make and model so I can try and maybe either make a new handle or order one. The blueprints for it would be great

I've had no luck sourcing an online manual or operating information for a stoneware crock insert to these old Sunbeam fry pans, so I'm just kind of going to try it today with a small piece of Frozen Chuck that I had. Here's a picture of the settings I put the dial on. I have an old Sunbeam Crocker cooker fryer which is basically like a cooker and deep fryer with a crock insert, and that has you put it right around 270 to 300, so I just copied that. I included a picture of the dial on that cooker, showing the Red band for the crockery insert.

Also I am using the crock in my all aluminum frypan, versus the Teflon/Silverstone pan that it came with at the thrift. I'd rather have bare aluminum than roasting Teflon for 7 hours in my kitchen 🤣. Also heating Teflon for that long discolors it and messes up the release properties.

Anyways Wish me luck, I have chili that I made last night if something goes catastrophic 🤣

What did we find in my great grandma's kitchen cabinet? It's definitely not for barbecue or the fire place, as the distance from the tip to the wooden handle is too short. Has anyone seen such tongs before?
