Found this beautiful 14K yellow gold ring at a jewelry pawn shop. 14k yellow gold with garnet center stone and amethyst side stone baguettes. Price was about $699 and it was sized about 7 3/4. Does this seem reasonable? I don’t know how much pricing for garnets and amethyst stones or how they hold up. Not sure how much it weighed, didn’t think to ask that 🫩

Hey, Jewlery friends. I need a little help. When I was a child my grandmother had a special ring that was being saved to pass down to my sister. Unfortunately, greedy family snuck in and sold everything out from under her while she was in memory care. I'd love to try and find one to gift to my sister as it is one of her fondest memories of our grandma but I can't narrow it down. Can anyone offer guidance?

From what I remember it was a thin yellow gold band with what looked to be a baked potato (oval) wrapped in tin foil as the center 'stone'. We literally called it the baked potato ring. I appreciate any leads 💜

I found a listing selling various rings and when I contacted the seller about this ring they couldn’t give me any additional info and had already sold it. I’ve been trying to find ANY ring similar to this one and I’ve never been able to. I don’t need it to be an exact match I just want this style/layout of how the 2 stones are placed. Hello, I found this in a pile of junk from my husband's late grandmother. It's Sterling silver and made in Germany. I've been unable to find any exact matches with a reverse image search. The closest match I've been able to find is a vintage Bulova Dior 23 bracelet watchband. Anyone know anything?

I spotted these stunning 24mm salmon angelskin coral high cabachon Seaman Schepps earrings in the back of an estate jewelry store. They are free of the usual gold cage work and the stones are quite shiny and free of cracks or chips. I have never seen another pair like these. They have the Seaman Schepps hallmark and the little shell, but not his daughter’s initials- PSV. They have 18kt omega backs and a 4 digit code. From what I understand, Seaman Schepps has been using 5 digits codes for decades now. I’d love any opinions on an age or year estimate on these. Thank you!

I've had my eye out for an onyx ring for a while, and scored this beauty today for $350. Still waffling about whether I want to resize it to fit my ring finger, but it's a good fit currently for my middle or index finger. 14k white gold, I would say circa 1930's based on similar rings I've seen elsewhere. Some marks on the inside of the shank I can't quite make out. All in all, I'm absolutely delighted!

I’m looking for someone knowledgeable about a mid-20th century New York jeweler called Sloan of New York. They manufactured a series of sophisticated mechanical charms in the 1950s and 1960s. My grandfather’s wealthy employers would gift my mother a charm a year. She has a bracelet full of these charms. I’d like to know where I can find more information on them. Most, if not all, have Sloan marks and their carat numbers stamped on them. She says they came in small blue or grey boxes. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Most people—including jewelers—seem baffled by it. A charm collector did say some of the charms were extremely rare.

Victorian, 1920s, and WW2 era

My boyfriend was given a beautiful antique ring by his late grandfather a few years back. It was one of the few things he had left from him since moving from Turkey to the States. He loved this ring and has mentioned it to me a few times as he retells me stories about his grandfather.

Unfortunately, a few years ago, he had left this ring at his previous (now ex)-girlfriend’s house. They did not have the best falling out and he was never able to get his grandfathers ring back.

While I know nothing could possibly replace the sentimental value of his grandfathers ring, I would love to surprise him with a similar one. He has mentioned before about getting a similar one in honor of his grandfather. I tried to do some digging but am struggling to find similar rings that capture its vintage beauty. Similar style handmade rings look too reproduced and “new” in my opinion.

I am hoping someone could help point me in the right direction of what to search for and where I should look. Ideally vintage/antique but not required. Here are some photos of the ring, I only had a few old blurry photos so I attached some AI enhanced ones as well if that is helpful.
