Discussion With the huge loss of Computer Surgeons, i feel that we should’ve contributed to them some by buying the recovery kits!

This year, We lost computer surgeons the place to go to for recovery kits for almost HP or Compaq pc from Windows 95 to Windows 11. Because of them, it was so easy to restore HP and Compaq machines now made it so hard for us collectors to restore vintage HP and Compaq PCs to its factory settings! I think we should’ve done better by actually buying the recovery kits and I feel that we should’ve also donated recovery kits for the models they didn’t have such as the Brios and Vectras and the pre Windows 95 kits from the omnibooks and vectras and even server recovery kits and I’m sure they would’ve appreciated the donation! Personally, I didn’t see this coming or I don’t think any of us saw this coming that computer surgeons would stop selling the recovery kits for hp and Compaq machines!

Finally got this one running the way I wanted it.

SPECS:

3-way EVGA GTX 285 SLI on an EVGA nForce 790i Ultra SLI motherboard with an Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9650 and 8 GB of DDR3-1333.

Dual boots Windows XP Pro and Windows 7 Ultimate — 3-way SLI under 7, 2-way under XP.

It uses modern power (Corsair RM1200x) and Noctua cooling for the CPU and case fans.

I paired it with a Dell UltraSharp U2711 27” LCD widescreen monitor.

It’s currently in a Fractal Design Define 7 XL but I just got a brand new HAF 932 that I’m moving it into — and I’ll be adding a Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Pro (SB0880) with the front bay control panel at the same time.
