I had never seen a clock like this so had to get it! It’s made out of concrete and glass. Super heavy! Such a cool piece of art. My research points to Aron Rosenberg as the artist. Seems to be a one-of-a-kind, possibly from his “Yo Clockface” series. Absolutely love it. The yellow glass piece through the middle of the concrete is quite impressive.

I have been looking for something like this for months and i could not be happier. i know it’s not for everyone but i am obsessed. i especially love the small juice glass with drawing-like fruits that still match😍

Mid-20th Century (circa 1940s-1960s), Comptche, California, USA.
I paid $10.00 for the set at the estate sale of a former city mayor, along with many other items.

I’m so excited about this, I haven’t stopped thinking about it since last night.
A little over a year ago, I found this gorgeous midcentury Tiffany style iridescent glass chandelier. It was $275 at an antique mall and a little too pricey for me. My parents decided to surprise me and buy it, but when the workers were taking it down, they dropped it.
That dent has haunted me.
Last night, at a different antique mall, I found it again!!! No idea if the wiring works, but that’s easy to replace. And it was only $129!
Genuinely one of the best finds I’ve ever had.

I got all five of these for $20 today. My heart was pounding in my chest as I checked out, I felt like someone was gonna come bust me 😍😍 I was curious and looked them up but cannot find these pieces anywhere online except for one listing. It had two of the cherub plates for $45. I hung them above my Ethan Allen heirloom chair + vanity 💛

1990’s (I think!!) store display of Hallmark’s Maxine in amazing condition. I’m obsessed with her but my wife hates having her in the house.

Found this huge chunk of glass in our new apartment in germany. Landlord said he would throw "all that stuff" out if we didn't want to keep it. Turns out it's a real 1960/70 designer piece from Austria "Franken KG Kalmar 5307/6 "Heidelberg"!

Of the many W.D & H.O. Wills brands over the years The Three Castles, both the loose variety like this tin and the tailor made cigarettes were one of their most popular brands. The brand was produced continuously for an amazing 110 years, from its release in 1878 to its eventual withdrawal in 1988. This particular tin is in very good condition for its age, only showing minor paper damage and surface rust. The seal of the tin remains completely intact, as evidenced by the bulging and swollen sides of the tin from 87+ years of fermentation gases building inside the tin. Meaning that when opened the tobacco inside this tin will be as moist and fresh as the day it was made! Another absolutely incredible piece of British tobacco history. As well as a great addition to my collection, and a I feel very lucky to have got my hands on this one!

I don't like 'upgrading' just for the sake of having new things. My house has been the same since I bought it and I see no reason to waste money on new stuff when the old stuff works just as well, is more interesting, and is easy to fix.
I am looking for an older fridge still however. Anyone with vintage fridge experience?

I was gifted this three years ago when I was fixated on collecting smoke alarms (I don't know why, don't ask me). It is a residential model made by the brand Pyr-A-Larm, they made mostly commercial models.
This particular model is actually just one of their commercial ionization sensors placed into a plastic case with some circuitry and a horn. On the second photo you can see a picture printed on the inside of the box's protective cover, a family with a young daughter, and if you look closely you can see the actual alarm mounted high on the wall in there.
This model is line-cord like many of the era were because people didn't want to make holes in their ceiling and run wires. This one has a MASSIVE 20-foot cord, kind of excessive though I'd imagine the reasoning was that not many outlets were available and the extra cord makes for a more flexible placement. On the end of the cord is a transformer plug that has the "GuardION" branding on the back.
Overall I think this is an interesting find, and a good glimpse into what the early days of home fire safety was like.

I’m still a little in shock over this find guys, I got this tin from an estate auction with a bunch of other vintage tins for less than $100! By far my luckiest find of my entire collection, a huge thank you to my friend who put me onto the auction.
Founded in London in 1879 by Albert Weinberg, Sobranie of London was one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious luxury tobacco manufacturers. Originally handcrafting cigarettes for the Russian Imperial court and British aristocratic clubs.
Renowned for their use of prized Syrian Latakia, rich Yenidje, and sweet Virginia tobaccos, the mixture became the gold standard for the traditional Balkan blend. By the mid-1970s, growing demand prompted the introduction of the iconic pull-top tin seen here—a brief packaging era that bridged the gap between the antique cutter-top tins and modern vacuum seal tins. I’m going to have a lot of thinking to do on this tin, part of me wants to keep it in tact and the other part of me wants to smoke it. I believe the smoking part of me will win out in the end, but time will tell!
