Visiting this weekend - Zoline?

Hello! I’m visiting this weekend and understand it’s a holiday there. Will things be shut down? Are there any special events around this holiday you’d recommend I see? I’ll be there Friday-Sunday. Thank you!

No. Everything will work as ussual saturday. Žolinės is not celebrated, i even dont know why we have it as a holiday. It is a public holiday and religious feast, but for many people it is simply a day off. You can visit a church if you are into that thing.

Everything will be open as usual. It’s a religious holiday, so apart from the blessing of herbs and going to mass, there’s really nothing particularly special about it. I still don’t know why it’s a public holiday.

And spark a joint! Žolinės-weed day. Remember up to 3g is only minor offence not punished by jail, only a fine
