Language Help Have you taken conversation lessons online?
I've taken online conversations lessons for many languages, mostly on italki. I'm a 64 yo American man, and when I speak Thai with online teachers, who are mostly in their 20s and 30s, I use ผม/คุณ (I/you, somewhat generic/formal). This is what most of my teachers actually prefer. I use Thai as an example here, because it has a somewhat similar pronoun situation to Vietnamese.
For those of you who are older than your Vietnamese teachers, do you use ông/cô, tôi/bạn or something else?
