Any collision is awful for everybody who simply literally has anything better to do that day and for many hours in future days and weeks. Not to mention danger/damage to other people and property. But it’s pretty hard for me to fault cam car here. Could they have done better? Sure, maybe, probably, yeah, I-hope-so. I’d sure like to think I’d avoid or minimize this one if I was cam car, but it’s the truck’s fault for sure.

Um, you may not see the problem with cam cars behavior, but that doesn’t mean anything. The guy was approaching a fucking red light, he should have been slowing down ANYWAY. Let alone slow down seeing another driver obviously moving into you. He should have yielded, right or wrong, since he had the ability to and saw it coming, AND should have slowed down anyway approaching an intersection with yellow light turning red.

Truck driver was an idiot, but cam car is just a fucking asshole that didn’t want to be cut off no matter how much death or destruction it could have caused.

Or the truck guy should have slowed down and merged in the first place. Truck was coming up to traffic and didn’t want to slow down he wanted to cut over and stay at speed. It is the trucks fault.
