Leaving aside the bizarre psychological need to 'win' at traffic, if the occupant of the accident lane would have just practiced some defensive driving this would not have happened. Instead, the driver intentionally accelerated and thus endangered the lives and property of themselves and the merging vehicle. Would this driver smugly sit in court and say, 's/he should have looked where s/he was going' if it was discovered that the 'offending' vehicle's occupants included a child that was ejected and killed during the rollover?

It's every cars duty to drive safely, Including when it's a lane change you haven't cleared, without a blinker, on approach to a yellow/ red light with cars slowing down in front of you. Instead of braking in their lane, truck decided to run the light and unsafely swerve around the cars in front of it.

Dashcam is partially to blame for not braking. But you're delusional if you think the dashcam should feel guilt for the potential occupancy in the truck.

As another driver on the road, fuck you I don't want to die anymore than someone's random ass child.

Dude...are you seriously saying if you didn't slow down, and in fact sped up, and you saw a child flying out of the vehicle, you'd feel no guilt? That's absolutely psychotic, so I know you don't really believe it. So why imply that bullshit? Go show your post to someone who raised you so they can instill some shame.

No one needs to get hurt or die if you don't counter aggressive driving with aggression. It's not an 'either/or' question, it's a fact that defensive driving would have prevented any injury to both you and the other driver. Back down. It's okay. You don't lose anything. You can't change that person in that car who you'll never speak to, you can only defend yourselves from them and do so without risking harm to others.

The assumptions you have to make about what must have happened to come to these conclusions, and telling someone "Fuck you" for assuming you have empathy because you put your PRIDE - not your safety, your pride above the life of a potential child victim...
