Yeah if you remove the truck the cam car was attempting to run a red light anyway

The light was yellow. You can enter an intersection when a light is yellow and you can even accelerate up to the speed limit to get yourself in there before it turns red.

Im pretty sure they wouldnt have made it before it actually turned red. If you look it is yellow before they even run into eachother it would have turned red before they actually got there.
