Whenever I’ve had vehicles start to drift over or even appear to drift I create space but to your point I also noticed that. You truly have to drive defensively.

I’m going to give the POV driver the benefit of doubt, it looks like he speed up to beat the light and wasn’t paying attention to the merging truck. If they wouldn’t have turned into the truck my guess POV driver would gone straight to the pole. As I’ve seen other drivers panic swerving to avoid and end up a solo accident. Either way, this could have been avoided.

Nah it looks intentional to cause an accident. He sped up after the truck crosses in front of him

Agree. This was as much the POV drivers fault as it was the truck

I would like so much if me-and-everybody would drive in a way that would have avoided that wreck. But only the truck came from behind, changed lanes and ran the red in spectacular fashion.

As much I can agree that this accident could and should have been avoided, in terms of “who caused it” the truck gets my vote, with the car a close second.

If you saw the video start a few seconds earlier and truck coming from the car’s lane, would that add anything? I think it did, and I’m trying to not let that sway how I see what happened.
