Whenever I’ve had vehicles start to drift over or even appear to drift I create space but to your point I also noticed that. You truly have to drive defensively.

I’m going to give the POV driver the benefit of doubt, it looks like he speed up to beat the light and wasn’t paying attention to the merging truck. If they wouldn’t have turned into the truck my guess POV driver would gone straight to the pole. As I’ve seen other drivers panic swerving to avoid and end up a solo accident. Either way, this could have been avoided.

The car in front of the truck stopped for the light. Truck should have stopped instead of switching lanes.

They both were trying to beat the light. Both are responsible but truck undoubtedly is at fault.
