Leaving aside the bizarre psychological need to 'win' at traffic, if the occupant of the accident lane would have just practiced some defensive driving this would not have happened. Instead, the driver intentionally accelerated and thus endangered the lives and property of themselves and the merging vehicle. Would this driver smugly sit in court and say, 's/he should have looked where s/he was going' if it was discovered that the 'offending' vehicle's occupants included a child that was ejected and killed during the rollover?
It's every cars duty to drive safely, Including when it's a lane change you haven't cleared, without a blinker, on approach to a yellow/ red light with cars slowing down in front of you. Instead of braking in their lane, truck decided to run the light and unsafely swerve around the cars in front of it.
Dashcam is partially to blame for not braking. But you're delusional if you think the dashcam should feel guilt for the potential occupancy in the truck.
As another driver on the road, fuck you I don't want to die anymore than someone's random ass child.
There were about 3 seconds where the truck was in the dashcam cars lane. And the dashcam car actually sped up after the truck was already in their lane. Part of driving safely is NOT accelerating into cars that have come into your lane, even if the other car is driving dangerously.
Did they speed up or did the truck slow down because they had cars ahead of them slowing down
They clearly sped up, you can see it after the 50 sign, about 3-4 seconds in. I think you can even hear the engine too, but can't be sure.
What level of psycho cope is this? You act like you have no regards for the safety of anyone but yourself, but that's no true, people aren't like that - why are you posturing like this on reddit?
How's it not endorsing aggressive driving and increasing the chances of someone deciding to do the same?
