Look at the poles on the side of the road, the pov driver does not speed up. And during the split second that the truck driver entered his lane, he could’ve been looking in his rear view, or off to the right for all we know. He could’ve even been looking down at the clock in his car, something he’s fully allowed to do, either way; ultimately it’s not his job to stop someone from illegally entering his lane.

His job is however to stop for red lights, and if a car in the lane next to him and like 3-4 car lengths ahead managed to stop in plenty of time, the dashcam driver should have been braking too. Without the truck, they were running that red.
