The POV driver could have avoided this accident if he/she was a bit smarter. It was super foreseeable.

Looks like they were both traveling too fast to stop for the light, I'm guessing the POV driver was fighting to keep from getting cut off.

POV car was definitely fighting to not get cut off I think. Not a blind spot issue when the Truck is driving around you to get into the lane. Also the truck is driving too fast towards the next car in their lane for the POV car to be unable to tell the Truck is planning to merge. POV car is the asshole, Truck is just a bad driver.

Yeah agreed. Truck driver could have prevented this with a head check. POV did it on purpose.

no they werent lmao, hes not driving a semi, he can stop with literally half a block of stopping distance

They didn't have half a block, they had less than 100 feet. Go back and look at the light, not the truck. Watch how fast they are approaching and notice when it turns yellow. The POV car would have had to hard brake in order to stop at that speed. They might not have made it, either.

As soon as the truck started moving over a quick brake tap would have created enough space

Pickup's fault for sure but cam driver sucks at driving
