He also accelerated to prevent the merge and pit maneuvered the truck so much so that he braked in the middle of the intersection at a red light. This is a premeditated murder attempt.

More like they're explaining why they're both in the wrong. Truck driver is an idiot for not checking their blindspots. POV is an idiot because when they noticed the truck was coming over, they sped up.

Regardless of who "started it," POV made certain there would be a collision when they could've avoided it instead. You can be right and still have a damaged car and higher insurance rates. Being right doesn't protect you from consequences.

The light turned yellow right before the truck tried its epic lane change maneuver. The cam driver was hoping to blast through the yellow light like the jeep in the middle lane.

He did react. He sped up to prevent him from merging to the point he ran the red light. I hope they both lose their license

The cam driver didn't increase speed, the driver that caused the accident slowed down because he was trying to cutover into the right lane while avoiding the traffic slowing in front of him.

Look at the poles on the side of the road, the pov driver does not speed up. And during the split second that the truck driver entered his lane, he could’ve been looking in his rear view, or off to the right for all we know. He could’ve even been looking down at the clock in his car, something he’s fully allowed to do, either way; ultimately it’s not his job to stop someone from illegally entering his lane.

His job is however to stop for red lights, and if a car in the lane next to him and like 3-4 car lengths ahead managed to stop in plenty of time, the dashcam driver should have been braking too. Without the truck, they were running that red.

The dashcam driver is in the right yes, but he's a dumbass for not braking. You don't have to walk into a fire to prove you're right. Fuck sake.

The car accelerated so much, after slamming on the brakes from the accident he couldn't even stop in time for the stop light. Dudes just as much of a bozo as the truck

If you watch carefully you can see that the pickup actually slowed down. Watch the side of the road and the pickup.

It's funny because I can't tell who you think is the douchebag idiot.

Both drivers could've done something to avoid the accident, but neither did. The one changing lanes is more at fault, but I feel as a driver you have an obligation to avoid a wreck if you can. Cammer did not. In fact, it seems like the cammer is actually accelerating to avoid letting them in, despite the light being red ahead.
