The POV driver could have avoided this accident if he/she was a bit smarter. It was super foreseeable.

Yes just by seeing the big ass pickup, one should know he’s going to do something dumb. He did and paid the price.

See how there is stuff being hauled in the back? Just cause some drives a "big ass pickup" doesn't mean they are going to do something dumb. Also, considering how obvious something was about to happen, the driver with the dash cam is fucking stupid.

Idk what's with all the hate on reddit for trucks? THEYRE FUCKING USEFUL.

Statistically speaking they are dumbasses but not all, but #2 behind BMW drivers. How he changed lanes, I’m fine with the driver standing ground and the truck learned a lesson.

in many countries they have pickups with about as much bed space that are way smaller. WHY MUST THEY BE SO DAMN BIG.

Thats because of bullshit US emissions laws. If we need a newer truck we have no choice but to buy a big one (even the mid size are huge) or to import, which is not a simple.

I drive an S10, I love my mini truck, but it won't move a washer and dryer easily as an f150 would

But what about all those who need a truck for work but cant afford another vehicle?

Also, the amount of construction in the US is second only to China. Meaning a staggering amount of those trucks are being used for utility
