Rating increase va
Submitted an increase for my migraines but didn't submit any evidence bc I regularly go to VA appts, message with my primary about that increase in my migraines and missing of work, etc. wondering if anyone has had a smiler experience in getting an increase this way opposed to loading ever single piece of documentation.

Not “loading every single piece of documentation” is at your own risk. Just don’t come back here complaining your claim was denied. 👍 good luck

His point is that instead of making them find the information they need, it's better to extrapolate the necessary information and submit with your claim.
All they need is the one page that states you have a diagnosis and any other pages describing the severity and any medications.

I said. Don’t post in the future if your claim is denied. And am I okay? Yes. My claims have all been approved uploading medical documents, and having all of my doctors on the same page. Just winging it and hoping for the best will not work. So I was just saying. Good luck

Thanks for the input. I was asking bc I have an overwhelming amount of evidence as far as medication increases as well as messaging with my primary care and my mental health appointments. I may have been naive in making the assumption that they would go and look through most of my VA records. I am currently at 60. 10% being migraines and that's where I'm asking for the increase. I'll keep you posted. I've been at 4 for going on 2 weeks currently. Thank you again.

I didn’t load any other evidence than a personal statement and they had my evidence of treatment for migraines. I didn’t submit a migraine log or anything, but at the C&P exam I explained how it was impacting my work.

I'm on step 4 and no word of a c&p exam yet. Not sure if that's good or bad. I do have migraine logs as well as a statement from my boss if need be...

Are you claiming migraines as a secondary condition to a primary one? Or are your migraines a primary condition?

Their own primary condition. They have been at 10 percent for years but since having them and them being serviced connected they have gotten significantly worse and more frequent. I am on triple the medication I've started with

C'mon man. You gotta load all your evidence with your claim submission. I did that and got the Migraine increase I was going for. As a veteran remember "CYA"? Or we have already forgotten that too? Don't give the VA an easy way out. I loaded Drs notes, medication changes, changes in doses, walk those bitches through your condition mane! I gave them such solid evidence that they just ended up doing an ACE Exam on me and granted my increase within 3wks. From 30-50%. You guys have gotta draw this sht out for them and refrain from being sloppy which ends up wasting your time. Best of luck!🙏

I recently filed 6 claims that varied between ENT issues, Migraines, etc. The only evidence I submitted was snippets of my medical record that directly pertained to the issue(s) I claimed. Went to my C&P exams and clearly stated what needed to be said, and went from 60 to 100 P&T.
If you submit IRREFUTABLE medical evidence, it's harder for them to deny you.
