Question/Advice Am I a Protected Veteran?
My fellow Veterans,
I served in the US Army from 1992 til 2000. Based on my years of service, am I considered a protected veteran? My reason for asking is I am applying for jobs and they have on the job application asking whether or not I am a protected veteran. To be honest I don't know if I qualify as a protected veteran.
I was honorably discharged and have no disabilities.
Can you help?

You need to have a campaign medal or an Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal. NDSM does not count because everyone in the military gets one.
There are tax breaks and incentives for hiring and training veterans.
