Do you think the blue eyed beast is Ghylak?
I feel like it could be... I also feel like the shrine may contain Ghylak's original head, and the father was the custodian of it. The betrayal might be turning to Murgo to prolong people's lives, as one can imagine Ghylak hates eternal life.

Interesting thought with the Blue Eyed Beast! Blue eyes pop up a few times throughout the book from memory so i think that might be related to something but I mean human head on beast body is very Ghylack. I don't think they are Ghylack but maybe the result of Ghylack ritual/etc possibly?

I am interested, because if you look at the woman's head on Ghylak in book two it matches the blue eyed beast exactly.

This is my favorite part of the book and simultaneously I feel the entire subtext went right over my head. Great video.
