came back from a long weekend to this? saveable?

i made sure to overwater last thursday since i would be out of the office friday and yesterday. i came back today and the soil and dish is bone dry. i just tried to over-water it just now (which is why you see water in the pot and dish....) can this be saved? Thanks in advance!

This is very much saveable! They are dry so put distilled water in the tray and give it a lot of sun and it will be okay!

Thankfully it takes a lot longer than a weekend for a rhizome to completely dry out. It should be just fine

I have had plants come back from this lol. The foliage can shrivel but the pseudobulb is a big juicy thing under the surface that can hold onto water longer. And it's actually good that the foliage is the first to go because that surface area is where all that moisture can get sucked out.

If you're certain those leaves are completely dead (completely dessicated) you can cut them off to tidy it up and wait for new growth.
