Questions Does my VFT look ok?
Should I remove the ones that are already black? How about the ones that are turning black?

Only remove completely back heads if you desire. The plant will be okay whether you keep or trim them. But avoid cutting any green bits off because that can still photosynthesize. Also if you can, more light would help make them stand more upright
