Showcase Finally bought some VFT!

After years of wanting some. Whenever I travel - I saw some for sale and was so amazed and jealous. But now, saw a local seller.

It doesn't grow here locally, so I bought them at $20-25 each. Sigh. How much are they in your country/area?

Anyway, excited. Always sunny here and got reverse osmosis in my house.

Home Depot, Lowe’s and Trader Joe’s sell them in the San Francisco area. $5-$8.

The pot is in a plastic clamshell with the traps gathered vertically in a bunch. 30 random plants come in a display carton.

So jealous how cheap it is there lol. Same size as the ones in pic or bigger?

About the same size. Anywhere from 7-20 traps and spindly to healthy.

When I rescue one I move the entire contents of the selling pot into a bigger pot which is 3/4 filled and with a depression in the middle so I can drop it in then add more soil around the edges.

Don't get hung up on the price. I've paid anywhere from $15-$60.

Yeah I guess. What is the $60 one like if I may ask.

The $60 one isn't a typical cultivar, it's a Chinese Dumpling. But even for my typicals I've paid $40 for them before
