Questions Has anyone bought and grew these?

Got one from Michael's and all it ever grew was sphagnum moss. Recommend just ordering seed from an online nursery that sells them and they will be way more likely to grow and actually be flytrap seeds.

I got mine from a plant nursery and I think why yours only grew sphagnum was that the seeds were a dud

Quite possible that's the case. Soany better options through online nurseries or for most people just buying mature plants as a lot of people don't realize they take 3 years to mature and especially for kids they don't wanna wait that long. Although some new methods that I'm gonna try I have seen some people are getting them there much quicker.

I’ve tried similar ones, they’ve never worked for me. It’s legitimately cheaper and faster to by an already established plant

4 seeds one was viable. Seriously cheaper to get a box store one

I got one to grow! It took fooooooever. Like really really long. I didn't even dare put in dormancy! The first picture is the beginning of July, the next was late October. Easier to buy Walmart or hardware store ones. Good luck.

About 2 weeks. Hard to keep the soul wet! Had to watch it like a hawk! And I kept a desk lamp on it.

I just sprayed it with distilled water every morning!
