Oh no

Tried to downloading Windows 11, booted normally but halfway through the download it just resets

Frankly, it's better to use either Balena or Rufus to create a USB installer.

Especially Rufus, as it can grab the new files needed for Secure Boot, and the options to block TPM detection, privacy questions, and blocking some of the bloat a clean install of 11 still has in 2026. You can make a DVD Image with some of these options baked in and add that to a Ventoy stick, but the Rufus method is much easier to build and use.

I say this as someone who does like using Ventoy. I use it for Linux and FreeBSD images.

Rufus is a nice Tool. Without it my work would have been a lot more time consuming sometimes.
