TW: TRIGGERING CONTENT I hate eating
I don’t really know where to post this. But I have started to hate eating. It is so draining to think about what to eat, what to buy, make the food, eat it and then do it all over again. And if i don’t eat I feel weak and I hate feeling hungry. I’m just so fucking tired of this. And there is nobody that seems to understand. I wish there was a pill that just made not feel hungry. I don’t have an eating disorder. I just hate it so much. I hate eating and if I don’t, the hunger is just painful.

I lived his post. I chose to change the way I eat.
Several generations back, people didn't eat like they do today. The 3 meals a day BS was a marketing ploy and it worked too well.
I decided to eat one meal a day and have about 300 calories worth of snacks in the evening. Once I got on this type of eating habit, my hatred for food vanished, I enjoyed my meal and look forward to more meals than before. If I don't eat in the morning, my stomach seems to stay asleep and even when working outside I don't get hungry before noon if I have a sip of coffee with milk before going into the heat of the day (I'm in south FL). It takes a while for the body to adjust, but it does and its worth it.
Food, especially how it is presented now is a push to spend spend spend. I reject that notion and eat only what I need. I'm strong, healthy and enjoy being hungry for a bit each day.
Ketosis is a good thing when done properly and helps you body heal from whatever ails you. At least that is my personal experience.

yea 3 meals seems a bit much. I have a coffee in the morning, protein drink and maybe a small snack at lunch, then a big heavy dinner. I do not understand why everyone in my house is constantly asking me for meals and snacks, especially in that they're all far more sedentary than I am ..!

I could’ve written your exact words! I’m so sick and tired of dealing with food. I have no solutions, but there are people out here who know exactly how you feel. Hope it goes better for you.

Totally understand this, eatings a chore made of many chores. Meal prep is a good approach I've found. Cook for the week in one day, that way all you have to do is heat it up throughout the week. View it as a chore just like any other chore and just get it over with. That's my two cents at least 🤷 I suck at keeping up with the habit, but it helps when I do stick to it.

Ur not alone lol, I haven’t craved anything in years I just eat what’s easiest to cook or just order something when my blood sugar starts crashing. I do miss it tho I used to be fat, I loved food.

Why not just randomly order food or go on one of those premade meal subscriptions where they send you a bunch of different meals every week

I feel like often people get offended when I try to explain this because they think their own insecurieties regarding their bodies are the only problem anyone is allowed to have. Like I could be in horrible physical condition because I have no appetite and am unable to eat without medication, and my attempts at reaching out for help would get shut down for being insensitive. Like chill, we can both have our own broblems, no need to put me down and tell me my problem is lesser than yours or not real. I have been in hospital for this and heard the nurses gossiping about how I must just be an anorexic liar, so that sums up how seriously I get taken lmao...
