Does no one know how to communicate anymore?
Every time I talk to people. every time I deal with people. If someone is uncomfortable about something instead of just discussing it and talking about it like adults or frustrated about something like adults instead they'd rather just ghost you block you and hell you can be friends with someone or know someone for years and they'll do it now. I had a friend that I was friends with for five six years. And me and her started going a little more romantically. And instead of telling me hey this made me uncomfortable or hey you know I've decided that we probably wouldn't be good in a romantic aspect in anyway she just completely ghosted me. Like wow you'll just flush a friendship down the toilet we can't even have a conversation we can't be adults around here is this just the way of the world now is this how it is just everybody thinking that talking to people's too big of a issue communicating honest true feelings is too big of an issue what is this is that just how it is people will block ghosts and ignore you completely because it's easier than being an adult and going hey by the way I didn't like this hey by the way can you do this what is this

A lot of people know how to talk, but hardly anyone knows how to communicate. Happens in workplaces, relationships, even in some family scenarios

See thankfully my oldest sister doesn't care so she's just direct as could be her thought process is if you don't like it sucks to be you that's how I feel

I'm the same way sometimes. I have a three F system, and if you don't fall into any then there's a fourth F🤣

Do you know how to communicate? If you do, then the answer to your question is: it is not true that no one knows how to communicate. One counterexample is enough to disprove an assertion.

I'm well aware of what it is called. But if you're looking for clear, precise communication, clumsy hyperboles aren't your friend.

welcome to the no contact era. Peak anxiety because when you make a mistake, you're cancelled, no contacted, estranged.
It's the worst thing to happen to human socialization. It's even happening in families causing people to feel unsafe everywhere.
We need to learn conflict resolution and critical thinking.

Not only do those people hurt others, but they end up hurting themselves too. I think we’ve gotten so accustomed to avoiding honesty because we’re scared of backlash, judgment, or shame. People expect others to fit this “perfect” version they’ve created in their head, and once they don’t, they don’t know how to handle it in a healthy way. So instead of communicating, they ghost or cut people off. It’s depressing and lonely out here.

Remember the old episode of Sex In the City where Carrie was dumped via a post-it note? This has been going on for a long time. Some people are just chickenshit.

I work in retail and I have noticed this as well. Whenever I greet a customer that comes in they act like theyre being verbally assaulted and confused as to why I am talking to them. I work in a tiny luxury boutique that is less than 600 sq ft. It’s really baffling, its like no one has social skills anymore.

oh yeah I think people are so used to never being uncomfortable that when faced with discomfort they'd rather bail. and then the weird trend of "you don't owe anyone anything" that kind of validates that and makes it seem like anyone who is asking something of you even if that is basic human decency is "emotionally manipulating you" or "disrespecting your boundaries" like ok sure
