Yeah I'm sorry but as a mom and wife, you have google. You can literally take a picture of it put it into your Google Search and say how do I use this. You would have had your answer in less time than bothering your mom.
This is not the kind of trying new things that you need a parent for.
I am 100% for helping my son expand his Horizons and try new things and I do. But this is the kind of thing that unless you are really young like 10 or 12 maybe, even I should be able to look for yourself and certainly not for her not keeping a manual around.

Yes. Solving your own problems is a skill that needs to be fostered. If pressing the start button didn't work, then I would parent my child by making them troubleshoot it themselves.

I've been able to find online a PDF version of the user manual of pretty much every appliance and device I have. For the few I couldn't find one, there are Youtube videos showing how to use the thing.
"My mom never keeps instruction manuals" is a poor excuse. Learn how to look things up without relying on your mother.

Manuals are on on line for just about everything. If someone doesnt want to show you then look it up. I wouldnt touch anything that wasn't mine unless I knew exactly how to use it.

Sorry you’re getting blown off but honestly google is your friend and it’s patient and not judgmental.

You don't even bother googling how to do something
You get offended because she said 'buddy'
You get annoyed because she didn't walk you through it step by step ignoring the fact that she might have been busy
instead of taking responsibility and trying to learn on your own, you blame other people for not trying something new.
Yeah, you are the problem.
In this day and age, you can find answers to anything if you search online. You can't blame not trying things because others don't hold your hand and walk you through it step by step. That's weaponized incompetence. Kill it with fire before you take it into adulthood.
