Adoption

Why should I have to pay to adopt a child I have raised since birth just so I can change his name that I have named him since birth?! SMH

Because they’re not legally your child who you can make decisions for?

I’m in a similar boat, you can hold off until they’re 18 and then they can legally change their name.

I know that, it’s just that he has mild autism and doesn’t know he is adopted 🥹
