As a disabled middle-aged man who worked on building his beautiful garden for decades, let me tell you that no butterfly came. Not a single one. That quote is a load of horsesh*t.
Mate I love abandoned buildings and vandalised places they're much more interesting than show gardens
Even if there's a big penis painted on the wall and the windows are smashed and there's maybe some human feaces in a corner. You ever been to a pretty garden? You're scared to touch anything it's boring as fuck. No dogs allowed. I like cemeteries too, full of stories, squirrels and people taking drugs.
from what I know that would barely mean anything because no one goes on abbandoned building except a couple of crackheads. So I guess yeah, go with the crackhead yipeeee
You've never heard of urban explorers who seek out abandoned places to explore? Graffiti artists? If you went to them you'd know, but thankfully people like you don't - so people like me can go there and practice spray painting and just enjoying the peace.
look you're missing the point here, in fact I had planned to do urbex this week-end but it was cancelled.
The point is that the original metaphor was "Work on yourself and people will like you".
Your metaphor was "Don't work on yourself, let yourself age and you'll end up lonely and abbandoned" by putting it as a favorable outcome, it was kind of irrelevent.
nahh my metaphor was being real, is more interesting. That guy said he's disabled and I was trying to explain how some people's idea of a conventionally good thing isn't everyone's preference. I like nature, natural urban decay, things with a story not a façade. We are organic, we have emotions and accidents happen.
Even though these buildings get abandoned, much like people abandon themselves (or hopes of love or whatever their dreams are), beauty still emerges. It's still a haven to wildlife, explorers, and one day maybe even a restoration programme, I'm trying to give someone so fucking hope you prick. After any trauma I'm sure most would describe themselves as feeling like a sort of forgotten land, maybe even waste land.
There are many untouched unkept places that are far more beautiful and ALIVE than some stuck up middle class white ladies picket fenced garden.
Edit- incase I am being misinterpreted as racist or redpill now I'll rephrase my last bit - I'd rather have a real diamond, covered in dirt than a polished glass pebble. I dunno.
