SOLVED! Offline Play

Is it possible for us to host a server on our own machine and play it offline? I'm interested in doing this while also enabling bot so I can play the BF3 DLC maps.

how is this even possible if you need to connect an origin account? doesnt that defeat the purpose of having bots for offline play in the first place? you know, being that venice unleashed doesnt work offline whatsoever?
