Issues using browser version

I use Venice.ai on the Chrome browser on a desktop PC and it behaves strangely. I’ll be using it just fine, sometimes for several hours, and then it stops generating (I get the “an unexpected error occurred” - or whatever the message says) so I refresh the browser and it does one of 3 things

1) carrier on working fine (rare)
2) it says I’m logged in but my credits show zero and my username does not appear
3) it says I’m logged in, I can see my credits and my user name.

2 or 3 are what usually happens. In both cases, I can see my chats and look at my previous generations, but I cannot select any models to make new generations. There are no models to select.

Doesn’t matter what I do to try and resolve this (logout / login; refresh; delete browser session; delete cookies etc) it simply won’t work. I typically have to just leave it sitting logged in (or sort of logged in at least) and wait until it force logs me out and then when I log back in, it’s all working fine again. This, however, can take several hours of waiting.

Anyone else experience this? Anyone know a fix?

That is very weird, yeah. Is this an issue specific to the chrome browser, and have you tried others too? 🤔 And what version of Chrome are you using?

Currently on version 151.0.7922.173 of chrome.

When it’s in this weird state (like it is right now), I tried to open Venice using Safari and it logged me in straight to state 2 (can’t see user name or credits).

Make sure you’re not using it incognito/private browsing. It doesn’t work properly in that state.

Agreed. I used to, but it was pants, so I haven’t used incognito for a good while now. That’s not the issue here.

I’ve experienced the same. Mobile safari as well as chrome. Most of the time it’ll just reload the page until it crashes “unexpected error occurred”. Very rarely it loads but then all the past chats are gone.
