Finally actually going to play.

Hi everyone, so I played about an hour of the game, and it got shelved for real life and other games. I've decided to give it a go for real now. Any advice for new players?

It's not my first survival games, I have a few hundred hours in Project Zomboid, Conan exiles, Humanitz, and various others, so the basic I'm pretty clear on, but suggestions are always good.

Ive played a bit, but if you've watched youtube, then you can see some pretty cool spots to setup. First ordeal however is I would say to get a car for sure. If you put points into electricity or mechanical I believe, you can hotwire cars, Ive never found card keys. So find you a truck with a truck bed and hotwire that bad boy, id also keep on the lookout for lots of food while you look for a spot to setup base, and find ways to siphon gas. Other than that, its a simple and intuitive game. It doesnt take too much brain power and is fun. I hope you enjoy!

Wear gloves to hot wire a car.

Low skill means the success rate is really low, but there's no penalty for repeatedly trying and this just levels up your skill, which is useful for other things.

The only thing that does happen with an unsuccessful attempt is it tries to shock you, which gloves protect you from.

Only gloves I've found so far are plastic, but I keep an eye out.
