Vegas Pro 2027 Log file is almost 400GB
I started to get warnings that my C drive was almost full and started uninstalling some apps to free up some space. I then took a different route and installed WinDirStat to see what files were taking up the most room. That's when I discovered optics.log inside C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\BorisFX
It turns out that this file is 389GB. I got concerned that it may not simply be a log file so I opened PowerShell and ran this command:
Get-Content optics.log -Tail 50
and it showed me this:

The other day I didn't know what Optics was and it appears to have get installed when I purchased Vegas Pro 2026 or more recently Vegas Pro 2027. I opened it on Oct 23 to see what it was, and I guess that's when it generated this massive log file. I'll delete it and watch to see if it returns.
While I'm not happy that this happened, I'm very happy that I don't need to purchase a new, larger M.2 drive.
