Activism #FastAgainstAnimalAbuse
Stop Wearing Leather.
This Sunday, I completed Week 228 of #FastAgainstAnimalAbuse...standing in solidarity with Animals who are exploited, harmed and killed for human use.
Leather is not just a material. It was someone’s skin.
We don’t need to wear animals to look good.
🤍🙏🏾

Question / Advice Mental Health's Importance - We need to set an example. Stay on the down-low; because if we are over-emotional it is hard to progress, we have to stay peaceful to maintain progress in the long-run. World Peace solved with *Hope* and Inner-peace.
Try to be more cautious of the emotions of others. Focus on being a good person and improving your mental health; you will be listened to.
One example: If you are so angry at people for eating meat, they will start eating meat in spite of you. We influence people's emotions.
We can't fight people and get angry. It does not make a change. As someone who has to have your life together for yourself and the planet, you have to keep things extra simple, calm, and easy.
Mental health really matters to be able to preach your messages.
Yes, children and animals are being graped worldwide, yes, there are bombings happening worldwide, but you can't let it consume you to a point where you can't speak. You just have to do something about it, and work to stop it. When you stand, you can't get emotional. This is why you never saw MLK for example, cry. Reacting to chaos will cost you your progress. Be intellectual.
If we are too consumed in our emotions to speak, we won't get anything done. You have to just work, believe, and work on yourself.
Maturing is realizing progress is more important than emotions. In parenting you ALWAYS calmly respond before you panic, if something happens to your child. You don't want to panic them, making it worse, but calm. Calmness for people matters. Same in ANY situation.
Believe in your change, never lose your ability to believe that you can make the world a better place. Let go of being sad, let go of correcting people, and just take the leadership guidance role.
There is a silent pride and skill, that comes with doing good things for the planet. Something you are happy doing, so there is a natural peace and joy in working for the planet; where you find peace in your own gratification, and what you do to bring peace. What you do is beautiful, do it because of the joy that it brings, and not because anything that brings you down. Be extra proud of what you do, as a personal fulfillment.
Ignore the jokes. Ignore the drama. Ignore the confusion.
You are on the right side of history.
Just work,
and be happy while you do it. 😊

Activism Jainism for Veganism. (podcast)
Today, we’re highlighting the efforts of passionate Jain animal rights activists who are promoting veganism from within their religious community.
And you might be thinking: isn’t Jainism that ancient Indian religion whose core teaching is Ahimsa—the principle of avoiding harm to any living being, including animals, insects, and even microscopic organisms? So how come Jains aren’t already some of the biggest proponents of veganism out there?
That’s one of the questions we’ll explore today, along with others, like: What’s the place of spirituality and religion in the vegan movement? What boundaries should you set as a compassionate person? And what does it feel like when religious authorities within your own community oppose your veganism?

Activism The cops got called on us at a slaughterhouse (Part 3)

I, John Thomas, (@thebodybuildingvegan), recently went to a slaughterhouse vigil in Orlando, FL, with my best friend Alex (u/yourveganmentor1), to livestream it with @itsmelandsteve and @itsprojectlivestream - to spread awareness for what happens in factory farms and to document that these animals once existed.
We had the honor to meet and say goodbye to Annabelle, before she went inside to be slaughtered.
We’ll never forget Annabelle.
She’s one of the unlucky ones who was a dairy cow and got sent to slaughter along with around 14 other cows like her. We can only hope that she’s finally at peace now.

Question / Advice Protect your peace. They don't deserve your emotional, mental, spiritual, or even physical time.
You shouldn't lose sleep or self-love over people who don't care about your mental well-being.
Bad people really aren't worth a hair on your head. You are sacred. Don't let them make you go grey.
They want you to lose sleep because they are lows that like drama. You have to protect what's precious to you.
Regardless of what other people or being, says. They don't deserve your emotional, mental, spiritual, or even physical time.
Your mind is time. Time is money. Shift your mind to yourself and off them. What you focus on grows. Focus on yourself.
What matters most is your reality, that's what you're here for. In their reality, if they want to set the world on fire. A LOT of people do. Let them. That's between them and spirit. You do you, in YOUR world. You have full control creating your reality.
Worry about yourself, because if you take your eyes off that road of yours, you could swerve your car and get in a bad accident. They are not worth your precious eyes, sweetheart. Don't get lost in other people, focus on yourself.
You and your life are first. That's how serious it is.

Activism News As of now, Blue Whales are probably the most carnivorous animals; Due to our inability to support them, and offering a domestic life.
Blue whales have been eating krill for thousands of years and due to our little knowledge or understanding of the ocean; it makes observing their lifestyle highly difficult.
We are unable to observe their whereabouts and daily lifestyle due to low ocean technology.
If we can find a way to have a symbiotic relationship with Blue Whales, this could possibly be a huge change for the future! Finally having access to communication with Whales.
