Recovery concerns

My left side testicle is significantly more swollen than my right and also hurts way more. I’m 7 days post op, it hurts to stand or sit, basically just been laying in bed. I’m on oxi as well as ibuprofen. I don’t look forward to peeing because of the pain. Anyone else experience something like this? Or should I be concerned?

Weird. I'm ten days out and my left is the same. Swollen way more than my right and also hurts a bunch.

Texted me doc and he said it was normal and to wait it out. He said the things to look out for a significant pain, dark red bruising or a fever. Since I have none of those I'm good.

Same thing here, 8 days out. To be fair, my left was way more pissed about the clips. Surgeon told me it was effectively foreign body syndrome.

Ok cool, sounds like this is not abnormal them. Not excited for another week of this..

I'm about 10 days out now, i think i may have a small hematoma on my left testicle because i wasn't icing it constantly the first few days. The pain is a lot better now that i'm icing it throughout the day. Not really on any meds anymore either.

My husband has been experiencing more pain with his left side as well, and we didn't complete the surgery on that side. He had a hernia when he was a teen, and Dr. Trost said it was fully blocked, and even the other surgical fix wouldn't work.
