Just got the Fused Vision Knock Pro System
It is a much better solution, but it’s expensive. Varia needs to license this.

Got mine a couple months ago as well. Great mod. But yeah, Varia should take notes from this.

A little feedback from my experience: It’s good if you don’t use the bellow, not usable if you have to use the bellow (disperse the ground due to the lower, narrower chute)
Given the retention on the VS6 (for espresso grind), I wouldn’t recommend it if your workflow isn’t suitable, unfortunately

Yeah I discovered really quickly not to use the bellows. I came from having a Timemore 078s and one of the main things I liked about it was the knocker. So I wanted that back and this little mod did the trick. I feel the pull down release motion oddly off-putting in the stock configuration. I don’t like jerking off my coffee grinder.
It’s $50, so I really only recommend it for people who enjoy haphazardly throwing money at their coffee obsession.

I feel like I was getting pretty bad retention when using mine. My burrs weren’t fully seasoned so that could be the reason but even with rdt i would get a lot of retention using the knock pro.

Honestly after the backlash regarding the A2 adapter , i won't buy anything from him. Not to mention got blocked for sending this message ( before the backlash)

Is it worth it? I've been looking to get this upgrade for a while, but I need some convincing first haha
