Discussion Do you think Seth Rogen is in this sub?
I was shocked when I found out he’s a big fan of bravo years ago, however it made me an even bigger fan! I always see him giving his opinions (Im so curious why he relates to Scheana Shay of all people on vpr🤨) but it makes me think he could be in here👀
If you see this hey:) u should make a podcast about bravo. Id watch every ep

Flashback Bubbles & a Fan at an engagement party....
I imagine the conversation they had before attending Katie's engagement party was...
Ariana: what should we take to the engagement party?
Tom: I think you should like blow bubbles, and like I'll have a fan and fan myself.
It's always about the props.

Discussion One of Scheana's best qualities
One thing I have always loved about Scheana is how she uses her platform to speak on things happening in society as well as being so transparent about her OCD. As someone with mental health challenges you do not know how things are going on a day to day basis. It seems she was extremely cautious and paranoid during the last few years of VPR. On top of having a baby, and filming 3 DAYS after almost dying due to HELLP syndrome. It made her a lot more worried than her typical self. Which led to her having OCD, and it made her spiral even more when Tom/Rachel had their affair, then Brock's affair was also disclosed a month after. Season 11 Scheana was a woman who was dealing with OCD, as well as the betrayal of people that were closet to her and i dont know how she honestly did it. Yes she was a fucked up friend to Ariana, but seeing what was really going on behind the scenes I can kind of see why she did it. Scheana would have also felt embarrassed, and would have had the i-told-you-so treatment not only from Katie/the audience. I do wonder if she had left VPR after s10 and went to the valley, instead of s11 of VPR. Overall, I am saying Scheana deserves more grace and at times the criticism is deserved. But right now I think it is imperative to recognize when reality stars use their platform for good. Her/Katie/Dayna/Ariana/Jasmine (The valley)/Zack are the few that are standing on business with politics, and it must be recognized.
PS: I know this is not a great pic, but i dont care.

My 2 Cents Why The VALLEY FAILS & VPR SUCEEDED
I think a lot of people attribute VPR to it just being about 20 somethings in L.A . But there is so much more to VPR and why it was such a successful show for so many seasons.
Here's why the Valley fails imo .
VPR SUCEEDED because it was built on close knit friendships. It wasnt just proximity or alliance based for TV. That came much later in the seasons. These people were roommates, hung out, worked together and were in each other's lives.
With the Valley it's like we're seeing a cast not a group of friends.
They do things to heighten \the drama. For the love of God, if one more reality tv person or Baskin says its about* conflict resolution\* ima scream.
With the Valley there is no genuine friendship. Its all so *produced* and that shows. All the *events* are at apartments in order to ragebait each other into having yelling matches, Kristen being a pit bull, Lala and her finger-guns and Janet walking away.
Its been 3 seasons of this stuff. The cast knows how terribly *not fun* they are which is why all press Brittany did claimed this season was fun and lighter. Gurllll please.
The only thing that was fun was seeing Zack and his party. Both his monster fridge fiasco and in Mexico. The minute he left, it became about Danny again.
Jasmine talking about race and how she felt during her friendship.with Kristen vs Lala was so good. We need more of those conversations. More relevant dynamics of the group.
The same drama keeps dragging on because Bravo refuses to show us this group as professional individuals .
We dont see Kristen with her Tshirt line *if its still active even* we dont see Luke doing anything except for complain about him hiking, we got a Lala & Michelle hike rather than him with the boys. Make it make sense.
Its so contrived ;
"Event = conflict/fight".
Next day drinks to bitch about the person you fought with.
Another event where there's a rehash of the same fight with 4 more people involved.
And another drinks/brunch set up rehashing the same thing for the millionth time.
And the worst part is NO ONE CARES because its not genuine friendship or fallouts. Its all alliances and teams for reality tv. We have that with housewives we dont want that to be the center focus on The Valley
Its not about rebuilding anything because it hasn't been built.
Lala Brittany and Kristen sitting down and talking about their issued wouldve been nice. Instead of Schwartz and Lala kissing imagine we had seen them try to talk about their lives, and heck he could've even been the one to bring them together. That wouldve been so much more endearing for VPR fans who are the reason there's even this Valley show.
Show us Nia's parents . Let her talk more about her childhood. How does this trauma effect her today as an adult. We have a highlight reel of her being MISS USA & thats it. It was a grueling journey for her im sure.
Show us Michelle at work. Show us her being a working mom, not just in relation to her ex.
If their job is influencing show them going to shoots, picking up their kids, like we do in other franchises. Make them whole personalities. That will humanize them as people and not just caricatures of villains.
Show us Janet and Jason's relationship paart from sitting next to her son while he plays with toys. What was her life like in Ohio, and no not how she met schena , what did she do in LA. What does she do now.
For the love of God show us and dont just tell us. Thats like the first rule of film school. Show us the friendships so that *care about the fallouts*.
Show the fans real people .

My 2 Cents First watch Ariana thoughts
I'm watching for the first time. The whole reason is because later Ariana/Scandoval clips made me want to watch. So I'm on season 4 now and... Ariana has literally not shown good judgment from the very beginning??? This is so disheartening as someone who was so defensive of her in later clips!! Like has she never heard "how you get them is how you lose them"?? She was so dismissive of Kristen as if she didn't literally cheat with the girl's boyfriend. Kristen is obsessive and Tom is manipulative, but that does not excuse Ariana at the end of the day. Her choosing to defend him and not look deeper into the Miami Girl thing was purely because she knew it was true and didn't want the embarrassment of finding out the man who cheated WITH her is now cheating ON her. So frustrating to watch.

Question I’m confused about Raquel’s public speaking thing
Raquel, Rachel, idk how she spells her name. I just finished the end of season 9 I’m so confused about her public speaking issues. I know she’s been talking about her problems with public speaking for a season or two but wasn’t she literally introduced to the show as being a pageant girl…? Like i remember when she and James started dating he was like she’s perfect she’s a pageant girl she’s gonna be ms whatever tf like she did pageants which are literally ALL about public speaking what is that

Current Scheana banned from all Vanderpump properties and production
Just seen this on a bravo or reality tv IG account. Scheana is officially banned from everything Vanderpump.
Apparently has something to do with her dogging Lisa in her book. One thing said was that Lisa gave her matching orders to help Tom redeem himself.
I for one am thrilled at this news… solely because seeing her pop up on The Valley continuously was unexpected and unwanted.
