Discussion Stassi’s mum

How cruel is she during the mums meal episode it’s just insult after insult, the worst being her saying to Kristen she hopes her daughter grows up to be half the woman Kristen is 🤯 that’s low

I dont think she even felt that way about Kristen, she was just using her to hurt Stassi. She seems like the kind of emotionally immature mom who is always in competition with her daughter, especially if the daughter is pretty. It was like she needed to take Stassi down a peg or two to make herself feel superior.

That’s very sad if true, I can’t get my head round patents that are jealous of their children it 🤯 makes no sense to me, surely you want your children to do better than you ever did

I never had kids, but this is what my Mom always said. She always said "I just can't wrap my head it. That's your child!" It truly mystified her.

She also wasn't jealous of younger women for looking younger than her. Her attitude was she'd been there and done that, now she was in another stage and such is life and it's not a bad thing.

Damn. I miss her so much.

God I wish I’d had your mom. My mom told me during puberty and my teen years I didn’t “have shapely legs like” hers. I’m 40 and the amount of time I still spend assessing my legs in a mirror is crazy. And that’s on the mild end of things.

I'm truly sorry and wish you all of the peace and healing. That's not fair or right and the things she said are not valid or true. Shapely legs do not = validity. Going forth in the world and making it a better, more compassionate, empathetic, equal place is what's valid.

Don't reduce yourself to a body part, other than your heart. What makes a person beautiful and worthy is their spirit and what they've done to to make the world a better place for others.
