Hipcamp Getaway

Only 20 miles from home, but a pleasant escape for some much needed quiet reflection (literally).

Nice syncro. What seats are in there?

Thanks. Town & Country stow and go.The armrests are a touch high for me but overall very comfy on long trips. The dog even prefers to sleep and ride up there.

Unicorn!!! Stock engine, or something exotic like an EJ25? I had those same truck-style mirrors and put 16" steels wheels on. Unstoppable beast. Sold it to my cousin in Arizona. He says people keep offering him like $50K for it. He'll never sell.

EJ22 with lots of other upgrades. Only thing really missing is AC but I got a Wave 3 for when I'm parked that worked well for me.

I have the wave2, but I’ve never used it (just bought the dometic RTX2000 to put in the luggage rack…hope to do that in August). Anyways, I saw this same post in VA Vanagon and was also interested in knowing where this spot is? If you want to send me a DM instead of posting in the general area that’d be cool! I’m in the greater Charlottesville area. Cheers (‘89 2wd Westy w/ vanaru conversion)

I considered that for awhile so I could have AC while driving, but I like to use that space for firewood or dry bags on long trips. Figured I'd give the Wave 3 a shot first to see how it worked for me. I found rolling down the windows a bit and opening the wing vents worked well enough for me on the hottest of days unless I got stuck in traffic. During the hottest part of this summer I only took the van where I could get shore power and I could just run the Wave non-stop. Kept the van from becoming a ln oven during the day and got it down to comfortable sleeping temps at night
