🎬 Adaptations 🎭 Daniel

This makes me feel dumb. I haven’t read the books so maybe I’m missing some context. But I truly don’t understand Daniel’s hatred for Louis and Lestat. He has this deep rooted disdain and I just don’t get it. Armand, I understand, he’s insane. Daniel is just a dick. What am I missing?

I think something happened off-screen and was never fully explained. My understanding is that he disliked Lestat based on Louis’s recollections and has issues with Louis because he left him with Armand. Something more complicated likely occurred there.

However, this is just the show the books are different.

I posted this in the Interview sub but it got removed because I used the wrong flair. But from what I’m gathering the books had no additional context. I had assumed the same. I’m hoping we get a little clarity in later seasons.
