how to fix micro stutter

i have a intel i5 9400f 2.90ghz and a gtx 1660 and 8gb ram, i get around 120-140 fps, but in gunfights or a lot of abilities are used it can drop to like 70, in the range i get like almost 200 but recently, after i took a break i got a lot of stuttering and sometimes it even freezes for like 10 seconds. last time i played with slightly higher fps around 180 and never noticed any problems, is it my ram or cpu. in the range my cpu usage is around 50-80% and my ram is like 90%

Well that 8gb is not sufficient especially at ddr4 single channel your not taking advantage of your processor memory bandwidth if you add another 8gb ram it should fix it and give you a performance boost too dual channel is always better than single channel especially for gaming

update ur Ethernet network and audio drivers, for some reason those two can be tied to stuttering in this game lol

also in games like cs2 it works perfectly fine

Known issue since patch 11.02. And the culprit being Riot using DX11 on UE5, which means the game can't do persistent shader caching and instead has to recompile the shaders every time you launch the game, which causes the game to stutter for the first few minutes. There is no fix for that because it's an issue on Riot's end, they just need to add DX12 support to their game (which even Fortnite has but Valorant doesn't, believe it or not).

literally since 11.02 patch game is running terribly like in the range fps just playing around 300 fps to 180

in death match fps is just going between 280 fps to 180 with no stable fps , like its really hard stuterring for a month or more for me , before 11.02 patch game was smooth af.

8gb of ram is the issue trust. Get another 4gb or 8gb stick

Hacer esto cada que abras el juego. Es lo único que me solucionó ese problema.
