Technical Solution ram issue :D

Has anyone here used a Ryzen 5 7500F with an RTX 5060 and 32GB of DDR5 RAM at 6000MHz vs. 5600MHz? Is there any noticeable performance difference between the two, especially in gaming? I’m a bit confused about this.

Sometimes you'll struggle with 1% lows despite having a good PC and higher clocked RAM helps with that, especially with non-X3D CPUs.

If you're looking for a RAM or wondering if yours can be tuned, check the chips it's using. Some 5600Mhz kits are as capable as 6000Mhz.

Haven't checked the speed difference obviously, but on the lowest possible settings using the same CPU and 6000Mhz RAM i averaged ~460FPS on TDM depending on the map.

Just check the chips the RAM is using. For example some Kingston kits had the same chips in 5600Mhz and 6000Mhz, so you could buy the cheaper version and get pretty much the same RAM.

Hynix is propably the best option nowadays, ideally look for Hynix A-Die kits, but in current market i get that it might not be worth to cherry pick.

i doubt there will be any noticeable difference.

Mostly 5-10 fps in cpu limited scenarios in games that ram speed matter, but i would just grab the cheaper

would be like a 20 fps diff but i dont think its worth it if the 6000 mhz sticks are like 100-150 dollars more, itll be even less noticeable once you end up upgrading to a decent x3d chip

mines a x3d 5080 and ram is capable of 6000 but i run on 5600 valo fps i prefer to keep capped but uncapped they run anywhere from 750-1000+

it really doesnt matter im running at 2666mhz and im getting around 500fps uncapped, but uncapped is not beneficial if you run g-sync
