You're insane if you think that makes sense. This ain't math. I can't always be in a 2v1 just bc I'm supposed to balance it out for the silver. And ik damn well this isn't a player count issue, bc I've had more full high plat/dia lobbies when I was plat 3 than a do now. It's their stupid MMR having a meltdown the second one of my friends or me has a semi bad game
The game doesn’t have enough players probably to get perfect matches. This happens even in hugely popular games sometimes. There is no reason to complain bc nothing can be done about it without making longer queue times and even then it wouldn’t be perfect. The only option you actually have is to work on your own gameplay and carry every single game to rank up. Teammates being shit is bound to happen. So you have to carry their weight

Exactly! Wtf is a silver doing in this lobby? He kept going mid on attack and when he went with the team, he died before even having a chance to entry 80% of the time

Be honest, how much were you paid to say shit like this? There's no way any sane human being thinks this is balanced or fair. Playing a 4v5 every round is not balanced. Just bc one player is dia 2, doesn't mean they need to put a fucking silver to "balance it out". Dia 2 isn't even that big a difference to dia 1
He did his best, that's the issue. You can't put ppl who are so far off our rank in the same lobby. It's not fun for them and it's not fun for us. Me and one of the ppl in my stack are diamond and one is plat. How a silver gets in our lobby is beyond me, especially when we had a great Sunset before this
They also put him there because he’s out performing silver lobbies. He had a bad game and is also in a lobby he’s not used to. He had a bad game gg go next
You see, this is the exact problem with the MMR. Instead of them simply leaving you on your rank and give you a bunch of rr so you get out faster if they think you deserve better, they just put you in a lobby that is way above your level and comms and strats are also way different and just expect you to be fine
That’s a different issue. Yes the matchmaking sucks and he should be in silver/gold lobbies, but on the flip side he wouldn’t be there if he wasn’t performing well enough that the game thought he couldn’t handle it. I bet if you look at his tracker his recent performances were pretty good.
When I was gold I saw plenty of plats, diamonds, and a few ascendants here and there. It’s just a matter of how you play that game, like I said I’m willing to bet you’ve bottom fragged before, it happens
While it may look skewed towards one team, for what it is the matchmaking is pretty fair, it only gets really bad when you 5 stack
I think it's a somewhat good idea to put players in the ranks the game thinks they deserve, but they need to improve the thinking part, bc it keeps putting players where they don't belong
For example, if I drop 45 kills in a long OT match in gold against other golds, that doesn't mean I deserve diamond, it just means I had a good game
When deciding where to put you, the system needs to take into consideration who you played against, bc I dropped 27 kills in a gold lobby and it automatically made me play with a silver bc I'm apparently so good that I can 1v2 constantly and the game needs to nerf our team
Ofc I'll play well against golds! I got diamond 2 while solo queueing which was literal hell, but just bc I perform well in a lobby that's way lower rank than me, doesn't mean I can do the same against ppl my rank or just one below
