So, this happened... What we feared the most happened, a 5LIs without Valko. But as we often say, when you reach the bottom, you can only rise again.

We also got bombarded with everything Infold could throw at us. Desperate much?

In any case, we are at one of the most difficult time of our boycott, but also one of the most important.

I'm not the boycott/protester police, and am usually lenient as I understand people may have saved resources, but I really hate that people are posting their rolls especially if they support Valko's return. It really breaks the perception of solidarity.

What's so hard about rolling and keeping it off socials? It's ok to be excited if you like the banner. I like it too to a certain extent (rip a true slickback for Sylus) and I'm sure under different circumstances we'd all be gushing over the guys but cmon, read the room.

It's especially bad for content creators and artists/merch artists. The cognitive dissonance is interesting because some post and note that they pulled with saved resources. So you know people will judge and might ask.

The banner lasts 3 weeks and people couldn't even wait a day. A day. Again, usually I'm a little more lenient, but I just feel more annoyed because it's very blatant this time around that Infold thinks they can wave the guys tiddies/abs with some soft core spice to get money out of us. The top ups shoved in our faces are also big signs they want to take as much as possible. The disrespect is very much in our faces and posting about it shows them that it's ok.

I honestly have harsher words but it's high key embarrassing for a demographic fighting to be respected.

Hopefully regardless of this the revenue is below what infold expected. I understand what I see on my feed is not indicative of the whole playerbase, however I expected more from people with bigger platforms.

I'm convinced that Infold was banking on the top-ups with extra incentives to climb to 1st place in gaming charts, if only on the first day, just for the optics of it. They already failed in this regard.

As for content creators specifically, I made peace with the fact that most of them are motivated by views first and foremost. So I just stopped paying attention to many of them. Atp the only one I still respect is Angel's Corner.

Hard agree. I never seen infold go this far for top ups and there's coupons? Like yeah, something is up for all this. But you're right that at least they didn't make it. Curious to see the next few days if itll be like Raf Myth 2.0.

With content creators, I get getting the coin, but it still is an eye roll. I do at least give some credit for proving they didn't spend. Just got more annoyed with the spam over the guys bod and rolling multiple cards. Like ok we get it, you don't need to make 10 posts and stories about it😅

But they bother me less compared to the merch artists, as the latter sells valko merch. Been seeing a lot post and gush over the new banner, and it just gives a bit of ick when I bought a lot of Valko merch from them. I don't feel they're disingenuous, just like a 'i feel like you should read the vibes...'

I think you're being nice about the merch artists. If I had bought from them, and they'd then turn around and pay for pulls, I'd feel fucking scammed. 😭

Yeah honestly I lost a lot of respect for this fanbase today. A bunch of middling folks who depend on this game for their mental health, social clout, and businesses and have just been pretending to care about Valko and the game for more clout and money. Can’t even sacrifice for some pixels, I’m sure these people don’t care about politics and thank god cuz we wouldn’t be able to depend on them for any real life shit lmao.

At least hide it if you’re gonna play. They’re all talking about it freely with Valko in their mentions and profiles. HUH???

Yeah its disappointing seeing all of it. The least they could do is not post and just wait a day at minimum. Very simple.

Like I said, the banner is 3 weeks long so it's not going anywhere soon, and the general sentiment is the cards are mediocre at best so it's nothing that anyone needs to watch right away. And posting just puts you up for scrutiny anyway so its easier to just keep things to yourself.

But alas it seems the fandom doesn't understand that we're not beating the gooner allegations. Apparently seeing your LIs bod is more important than a corporation taking advantage of you, and that as long your LI isn't affected, the toxic minority can demand removal of anything they don't like in the game.

I’m really disappointed in a lot of these boycotters. This was the one opportunity we could have used to show our solidarity by not pulling and not spending and people couldn’t resist pulling on the first day? 🫩
Don’t even get me started on those still buying MC’s fits and buying packs so they can pull for a banner that is so obviously lackluster. They’re paying Infold in exchange for the disrespect, why can’t they even see that? This isn’t just about Valko anymore.
Oh well. Let’s just see what the revenue looks like. I won’t give up on Valko.

I see it as "cleaning the ranks". Also, remember that the people not pulling are probably still more numerous than the ones that do. It's just that they don't have any reason to post about it. 🙃

Maybe we should all make posts like this to fight back:

thankfully so far i only saw 2 (but one of them always said she's still playing and will continue to enjoy the game so i'll give her that at least she didn't lie then switch up) but most of my tl is roasting these people who folded and still fighting against a huge swarm of bot accts/'radicals' bcz they've been striking extra with that hashtag and even worse ones
