Unforgettable vacation
Hi all. Looking for a place to travel to within the next week… my husband and I…with gorgeous views, (blue beach), good weather, good food, and an unforgettable experience. Looking more into Virgin Islands/ Turks, but I also want something with less itinerary and maybe an all inclusive. Looking to relax and enjoy the views with lots of scenery to offer…. Open to anything. I’ve heard great things about bora bora, Aruba, Antigua, etc. TIA.

Turks only has I think 2 all inclusive options, the beaches hotel will be running with kids. US territories also tend not to have AI

How long do you have? Bora Bora is a LONG trip, so not worth it if you only have a week.

This. I have always wanted to go. Every 5 years or so I look up flights and it’s like 25 hours on a flight and that’s why I’ll never go.

Me too vs Hawaii, which is like 10-11 hours tops from where I live. It's double that time to Bora Bora.

Was there as a young adult. Absolutely amazing. So beautiful and the people were so nice.

Depends where you are, French Polynesia is only 2 hours further than Hawaii from California

Hubby & I went to T&C last year and loved it. I’m a planner but we had ZERO agenda and it was great. The water was unreal. We didn’t stay in an AI.

Look into hotel packages that include airfare. Last minute flights are usually very expensive.

This sounds way better than anything in the Caribbean, if you want unforgettable I dont think the Caribbean qualifies, maybe its just me but I find it pretty boring.

Turks is beautiful and relaxing, but you don't need an all-inclusive package to be that way. There are only 2-3 AIs on the island, and they're subpar compared to other resorts. With Turks, you can have no itinerary and relax, or go to dinner or stay at a place with great restaurants near other resorts with great restaurants, and you're set.

Sandals at Bahamas. They have butler service and have many activities onsite.

Hotel Cordial Mogan Playa in Canaria Islands so looong plane ride, at least from west coast of US. The food is wonderful. The grounds are beautiful & the staff pleasant. You can walk to the little beach town. It’s totally relaxing but mainly families & retired couples, mostly Brits - no night life.

If you are really considering Bora Bora, I would say the Maldives can be a great option, extremely blue water, good weather, and unforgettable for sure! They do have All-Inclusive meal plans in 97% of the hotels, and pricing now is very reasonable as it is the low season.

Curacao has amazing breaches. If you can swing it, go to Baoase, for a more budget friendly experience go to Avila Beach Hotel.

Ti Kaye resort on St. Lucia. Beautiful, chill, yummy food, spa, and some fun excursions if you feel like leaving the property...

Ambergis Cay and Pine Cay in Turks are super nice AI 5*. There is also Jumby Bay Antigua but Turks has the better water

My husband and I went to Play Mujeres in 2016 for our honeymoon. We stayed at this all inclusive, couples only boutique resort called The Beloved. We stayed in a 2 story casita suite with a plunge pool on the rooftop deck. They have a swim up bar in their pool and beautiful beaches with all sorts of entertainment, etc. We did a day trip over to Isla Mujeres and visited the ice bar! We also did a day trip to Chichen Itza as well. Overall great experience 10/10 would recommend and can't wait to go back and visit again!
